I know it's not until tomorrow, but seeing how we'll be in Snowflake.... I might not be able to post. We made these shirts for FHE on Monday and thought they turned out super cute. (They're handprint turkeys.)

Hooray for blogs! They're awesome for keeping in touch, even thousands of miles away. Kai and Griffin look adorable as always. LOVE the halloween costumes - I can't believe you got Jeff to dress up as Emporer Zurg. Nice!
I'm so sad we missed the Snowflake Thanksgiving this year...and to make matters worse, I apparently did not inherit the "good-pie-making gene" from my mom. Hope you had a giant wedge of her cherry pie for me...followed by an equally giant slice of pumpkin...with a side of apple...and at least finger swipe's worth of banana cream. mmmmm...
Well I can help you with one of those pies. I LOVED, as always, her cherry pie. But I convinced her to NOT put the chocolate layer on the bottom of her pistacio pie and liked it much better. However, she ran out of energy and used a store-bought graham cracker crust for that one. Not the same. Oh yeah, I DID have a small taste of her apple crunch topping pie. DELICIOUS!!!
How cute. I am so boring when it comes to most holidays. You're an inspiration.
